Hasard du calendrier artistique parisien, après l'expo au
musée du Jeu de Paume de la célèbre photographe Américaine, Berenice Abbott
(1898-1991) qui a tant oeuvrée à la reconnaissance internationale d'Eugène
Adget, c'est au tour de ce dernier d'être honoré par une exposition au musée
Carnavalet.
Cette exposition propose une sélection de 230 épreuves réalisées à Paris
entre 1898 et 1927, à partir des fonds du musée Carnavalet, complétés par
ceux de la George Eastman House de Rochester et des collections de la
Fundación Mapfre à Madrid.

Coincidence of
the parisian artistic agenda, just after the exhibition at the Jeu de Paume
Museum of the America photographer Berenice Abbott (1898-1991) well known
for her international advocacy of Eugène Adget; this last one is exposed at
the Museum Canavalet.
This exhibition proposes a selection of 230 prints created in
Paris between 1898 and 1927 from the collections of the Carnavalet Museum,
in addition to those of the George Eastman House in Rochester and the
collections of the Fundación Mapfre in Madrid.
