Goldy Week End (3rd Model) - 1950 |
In 1947, the
GOLDSTEIN factory commercialized a box 6x9 in cardboard which became
famous under the designation of "Goldy".
This camera was also distributed with different other names including "Week-End".
The GOLDY Week-end will have two
successive releases :
| The model 2 made of cardboard. |
| The model 3 made of stamped- aluminium with black crinkle finish. |
The characteristics of this camera do not differ from those of the
original Goldy.
Nevertheless, its quality is much higher :
The control window, located onto the back side of the camera, is
equiped with a light card. A big button made of bakelit has replaced the
former
film advance key in metal. |
