Continsouza Constructeur - Pathé Camera (1923) |
|
Although this camera was very compact, it needed to be used with a tripod to ensure picture stability. The film was advanced by the rotation of a crank at a speed of 2 cycles per second. An interestingly sophisticated camera it used pre-loaded metal magazine containing a film of 9,5 mm. The drop-in loading was very simple. The model in my collection is equipped with a Trianar Krauss 1:3,5 f=20mm lens. The viewfinder is very similar to that of folding cameras of the same epoch.
