At the beginning of the year 1923, Pathé increased its offering of 9,5 mm cinematographic material (Pathé baby) with the Pathé Camera.

Although this camera was very compact, it needed to be used with a tripod to ensure picture stability. The film was advanced by the rotation of a crank at a speed of 2 cycles per second.

An interestingly sophisticated camera it used pre-loaded metal magazine containing a film of 9,5 mm. The drop-in loading was very simple.

The model in my collection is equipped with a Trianar Krauss 1:3,5 f=20mm lens. The viewfinder is very similar to that of folding cameras of the same epoch.
